I am extremely excited about teaching your child and working with you, the parents. Your support of academics, homework, and discipline efforts of our school is essential to the success of this year. As a team I know we should be successful in the education of your child.
In order for me to successfully educate your child and for your child to successfully learn, there is the need for a structured learning environment. The expectations I have for the children are:
1. We will listen and follow directions the first time given.
2. We will raise our hand and wait patiently.
3. We stay in our seat at all times, unless given permission otherwise.
4. We will work quietly without disturbing others.
5. We will be nice to everyone and everything.
6. We will keep our hands, feet, and other objects to ourselves.
Notice that my expectations began with WE... because as TEAM - parent, teacher, and student, WE can be ready, responsible and respectful to make things happen and have a great year.
